Koetje Memorial Scholarships
NPSAR offers two annual scholarships to high school and college students. The scholarships were established in memory of Brandon Koetje, son of fellow REALTOR® Jim Koetje; and George Koetje, a long-time respected REALTOR® from Oak Harbor.
The deadline for submissions for 2024 has passed.
George Koetje Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in honor of George Koetje. The scholarship amount for the
current
year is $1000.
The purpose is to assist a deserving student from Whidbey Island furthering their
education at an accredited Washington State school.
Brandon Koetje Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1992 in honor of Brandon Koetje. The scholarship amount for
the
current year is $1000.
The purpose is to assist a deserving student furthering their education at
an accredited Washington State school.
At a minimum, one relative of a N.P.S.A.R.
member can compete to secure a scholarship. Another scholarship may be awarded to a worthy
student.
